July 21, 2004 Hi everyone! We are currently in Vancouver awaiting our trip overseas early tomorrow morning. We're going to add stories and descriptions once we get to Germany, but for right now we just have a few photos for you. More soon! We love and miss you all very much! Send off at Leslie's dad's house. Send off #2 at Leslie's mom's house. It was so damn hot on hwy 5 that we had to take a shady tree break! First night in Mt. Shasta. There was a Datsun rally going on with lots of nice cars! Locals in Mt. Shasta. Very large beetles who joined us for lunch in central Oregon. Sunny river break at Mt. Hood. Leslie found an artichoke flower in Hood River. The incredibly nice Eric and Eva in Seattle. Our first border crossing into Canada. Good to get off the bike. We found a bicycle race in Vancouver. Lance Armstrong was there in disguise. Vancouver is a very beautiful town, this is the Gastown district.
